As the IBMi is also used for WEB and client/server applications, deployment processing includes
sources and objects to both IBMi and Windows servers. And deployment to these 2 platforms must be
done concurrently. For example, a .net application using the IBMi as the web server includes dlls and
other Windows objects on the Windows platform as well as files and other objects on the IBMi.

An unlimited number of development processes can be defined in the iAM4Windows software with different parameters for each target environment. For example, going from Development environment to Test environment on the IBMi, you can specify that Windows objects be deployed to the associated Test Windows server(s). Going from Test to QA, deployment on Windows objects should be done to the associated QA Windows servers and so on up to production. One of our Customers uses the iAM4Windows software since 2009 to manage all of their green screen and Client/Server applications. They’re using ACBS client/server application and deployment on the IBMi is done using iAM4IBMi and deployment to their 7 production Windows servers is done using iAM4Windows.
